About the Role
We are looking for detail oriented Italian cultural expertise in Italy for speech data annotation Project. In this role, you will listen to short audio clips and verify or correct word level segment boundaries and transcriptions generated by an automated alignment system.
Project Details: Andromeda Delta
Location: Italy (Remote)
Engagement Type: Freelance (Pilot)
Rate: USD 15.23/hour
Language: Italian (Italy)
Estimated Hours: 3–5 hours/week ( total 15-20 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Listen carefully to short audio clips in Italian (Italy).
- Verify and correct word-level timestamp/segment boundaries generated by an automated system
- Review and correct spoken-form transcriptions per a detailed style guide
- Flag ambiguous or unclear audio segments for adjudication
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across assigned batches
Requirements
- Italian cultural expertise in Italy; strong listening comprehension
- Prior experience in transcription, annotation, or data labeling preferred
- Comfortable following detailed style guides and annotation instructions
- Good attention to detail, especially for timestamp/boundary precision
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment with good headphones
