Platform Consultants or Business Analyst JD Edwards (JDE)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Consultants or Business Analyst JD Edwards (JDE) based in Ireland.

As a Platform Consultant or Business Analyst specializing in JD Edwards, you will support business and technology initiatives within a multinational logistics environment. You will leverage deep knowledge of JDE Financials to analyze business requirements and contribute to effective technology solutions. The role combines functional expertise, analytical thinking, documentation, and integration-related activities. You will work across the IT project lifecycle, helping ensure requirements, processes, and technical dependencies are clearly understood and documented. Your expertise in inventory management and costing will be particularly valuable in supporting business-critical operations. This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals based in Europe who enjoy solving complex problems and working in an international environment.

• Support business analysis and platform consulting activities related to JD Edwards environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional needs and actionable solutions.
• Apply strong knowledge of the JDE Financials module to support business processes and technology initiatives.
• Contribute to inventory management and costing-related activities.
• Participate throughout the IT project lifecycle, supporting requirements, analysis, documentation, implementation, and follow-up.
• Analyze and map business processes and documentation, particularly in relation to integration activities.
• Produce clear, accurate, and structured documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
• Investigate issues and requirements using a persistent, solution-oriented approach.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and support effective project delivery.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when analyzing processes, requirements, and integration flows.

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of professional experience as a Platform Consultant, Business Analyst, or in a closely related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards, particularly the JDE Financials module.
• Solid knowledge of inventory management and costing processes.
• Good understanding of the IT project lifecycle and experience working across different project phases.
• Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation and requirements-management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a tenacious approach to resolving complex issues.
• Experience with process or integration mapping, including paper mapping activities.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear documentation and requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, international environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively across European teams.
